Rajan Dharni is a stand up comedian, comedy writer and improvisational actor based in LA. He regularly performs stand up, improv and sketch comedy throughout Los Angeles, having performed stand up at colleges and clubs in NYC, Dallas, San Francisco, Las Vegas, North Carolina and throughout New England.

As co-host, co-creator and co-producer, Rajan Dharni performs on and writes for the hit show IMPRO(vs)TANDUP at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. IMPRO(vs)TANDUP brings together the best improvisers and stand up comedians in Los Angeles for one hilarious experience: www.facebook.com/improvstandup.

Rajan trained in improv comedy at iO West, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, Impatient Theater (Toronto), Miles Stroth Workshop and under the tutelage of Rich Talarico. He studied sketch comedy at UCB and with Rich Talarico, Heather Campbell and Eric Moneypenny  He has also studied theatrical and commercial acting with Lesly Kahn and Carolyne Barry, respectively. Rajan has scribed for the CBS Diversity Showcase as well as on various original pilot projects.

Putting his UCLA Psychology degree to good use as a Burrito Connoisseur (ask him about it), he can be found riding his bike around LA, playing his doombek and cajon at the Venice Beach Boardwalk or hanging at the abandoned zoo in Griffith Park.
